The Team

The physician joins the adult primary care team at Siena Medical Clinic, part of a larger multi-specialty clinic on the St. Catherine Hospital campus. The team relies on a strong group of advanced practice providers and dedicated nursing support, and the culture centers on collaboration and mutual respect.

Care Team

• Adult primary care physician group at Siena Medical Clinic, which this role expands
• About 7 advanced practice providers in the clinic
• Dedicated RN paired with each physician
• Medical assistants supporting clinic flow
• Part of a multi-specialty clinic that includes a pediatric department and other specialties on the hospital campus

Support Structure

Physicians are paired with a dedicated nurse because of the acuity of the adult and geriatric panel, and the practice manager oversees clinic operations.

Practice Culture

The clinic values close collaboration between physicians and advanced practice providers, with a shared focus on quality and access. Many APPs carry their own panels and manage challenging patients, and physicians are expected to mentor newer providers as they build experience.
