UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Hospital in Tyler, Texas is seeking two Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians to join its inpatient rehabilitation program. The program operates a 49-bed acute rehabilitation hospital connected to a large regional medical center via skybridge. Both positions offer a focused inpatient practice with no outpatient clinic or pain management responsibilities, a Monday through Friday schedule, and the stability of employment through the UT Health system.

The program previously had employed physicians and is not a new service line. Both positions are open due to retirement and a personal departure, not program instability. A full open panel means new physicians can expect to reach full volume quickly.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Call is structured as 7 consecutive days per month, including one weekend, covering after-hours phone inquiries only. There is no in-house call requirement. Optional additional shifts are available for physicians who want to increase their income.

Both positions carry a faculty appointment through the University of Texas, with titles at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
