Recruitment & Interview Process

Once you and your spouse or significant other have reviewed the information about the practice and community and are interested in being considered, please forward a copy of your CV if not already submitted.

We will arrange a phone call with both you and your partner to understand your current situation. This information will be documented as a cover letter and submitted to our client.

As part of the process, we will:

  • Verify your board certification and state licenses
  • Request that you complete our electronic background disclosure form via HelloSign
  • Ask for written explanations of any past or current malpractice cases, whether dropped, settled, or pending

We will forward your materials and two potential interview dates to Don Lewis, Director of Physician Services. If the initial call goes well, you will be invited for an onsite interview with your significant other.

Travel arrangements include flying into Baltimore Washington International Airport or Reagan National Airport, renting a car, and driving to Leonardtown. During the visit, you will:

  • Meet with hospital executives, physicians, and staff
  • Tour the hospital facilities
  • Explore the community with a local realtor familiar with the region

Post-Interview & Offer Process

Following your interview, we will collect feedback from everyone you met and follow up with you on your interest and next steps. If selected, you will receive a non-binding Letter of Intent. Upon your signature, a formal executable contract will be sent electronically, typically within two weeks.

All offers are contingent upon referencing and credentialing. Please provide three to five professional references, including name, title, relationship, and contact details. These should be colleagues who can speak to your clinical skills.
