Contract & Benefits

Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

This position offers a $600,000 base salary with RVU-based upside once production exceeds 6,600 wRVUs per year (550 wRVUs per month). Each wRVU above that threshold is paid at $75. A surgeon producing at the regional median for general orthopedics would earn roughly $821,700 in total compensation, and a surgeon at the 75th percentile could approach or exceed $1 million. The model rewards surgical volume directly, and with dedicated daily OR block time, Mako robotic support, and available hand and foot and ankle volume, there is a clear path to ramp production quickly. The structure is competitive for the Western region, pairing a strong guaranteed base with meaningful production incentives.
