Brian Larsen, MD currently serves as both CMO and Hospice Medical Director for Good Shepherd Health. As he transitions fully into the CMO role, he will step back from day-to-day hospice leadership while remaining clinically active. You will be stepping into the Medical Director role he is vacating, with him available as a colleague and organizational resource.

Nursing & Clinical Support

8 hospice nurses total; 5 of 8 hold Hospice and Palliative Care Certification
24/7 RN triage support; overnight escalations to the on-call physician are rare
NP on staff managing day-to-day administrative tasks Tuesday through Thursday

The full interdisciplinary team meets weekly for approximately 2.5 hours. The program also maintains a close working relationship with the oncology team, which serves as both a referral source and a partner for future palliative care program development.
