A Clinical Practice Built for Depth, Continuity, and Support

Your clinical practice takes place in a modern cancer center designed to support efficient workflows and meaningful patient interaction. You manage a diverse oncology population that reflects both community needs and regional referral patterns. Breast and prostate cancers form a consistent foundation of volume, while lung, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and hematologic malignancies add clinical range and complexity. The patient base supports long-term relationships, allowing you to follow patients through diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Medical and radiation oncology operate within the same facility, which streamlines coordination and improves care continuity. Exam rooms are equipped with large monitors that allow you to review imaging and treatment plans directly with patients. This setup supports clear communication and shared decision-making without adding administrative friction. You practice with the support of experienced oncology nurses, navigators, and APPs, which keeps your focus on clinical decision-making rather than logistics.

Clinical structure and resources include:

  • 4.5 day work week: 4 days seeing patients, ½ day admin to coordinate patient care
  • See an average of 12-14 patients/day
  • No inpatient rounding, no call at night, no weekends
  • Comprehensive medical oncology practice treating solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
  • Core volume in breast and prostate cancer with broad exposure to lung, GI, GYN, and other cancers
  • Integrated radiation oncology services within the same cancer center
  • Five fully equipped exam rooms with in-room imaging review capability
  • Ten infusion chairs plus private infusion rooms designed for patient comfort
  • Dedicated triage nurse rotating across the team for consistent daily support
  • Medical oncology nurse navigator managing authorizations, financial assistance, and coordination
  • On-site pharmacy embedded within the infusion center
  • Genetics program with a dedicated coordinator for hereditary cancer evaluation
  • Transportation services covering a 90-mile radius to reduce access barriers

The clinical model emphasizes thoughtful scheduling, strong support staffing, and shared responsibility across the care team. The program has demonstrated stability and high-quality care delivery even during previous physician transitions, which speaks to the strength of the infrastructure surrounding your practice. This allows you to focus on oncology care that is thorough, personal, and sustainable.
