CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its established, hospital-employed GI practice in New Bern, North Carolina. The position is being recruited proactively ahead of an anticipated physician retirement, allowing you to step into a full referral stream from day one while leadership maintains provider access for a growing patient population.
This is a high-volume, general gastroenterology opportunity. The group is looking for a productive endoscopist who wants to build a busy practice, help continue the development of the hospital-owned outpatient endoscopy center, and participate in a light, shared hospital call rotation.

Build and manage a high-volume general GI practice
Perform outpatient procedures in the endoscopy center and inpatient cases at CarolinaEast Medical Center
Help continue the development of the hospital-owned outpatient endoscopy center
Participate in the shared 1:7 call rotation
