At Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, you'll join a dedicated oncology team composed of experienced providers and long-standing support staff. With a full-service oncology department, HRRMC offers a supportive and collaborative environment where clinical excellence is matched by a commitment to continuity of care.
- Dr. Agnes Charles – Full-time oncologist with plans to retire in July 2025
- Dr. Wendy Oatis – Part-time oncologist (VCU MD, U of Maryland IM residency, Northwestern Hem/Onc fellowship), works 3 days every other week
- Maddie Syzek – Full-time nurse practitioner
- Carol Johnson – Part-time physician assistant
- Department Manager – 24+ years at HRRMC, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
- Join a team with 10+ years average tenure and exceptionally low turnover
Integrated Support Staff
- Three oncology-certified nurses staffing the infusion center daily
- Two full-time clinic nurses and one part-time nurse navigator
- Dedicated scheduler assigned exclusively to oncology
- Shared access to dieticians, physical therapists, and wellness professionals
- Strong collaboration with home health and hospice services
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
