Regional One Health is the public safety-net health system for Memphis and the surrounding region. Its acute care hospital, Regional Medical Center, was chartered in 1829 and is the oldest hospital in Tennessee. The system cares for many of the Mid-South's most critical and complex patients, and it is the academic home for UT Regional One Physicians and UTHSC residency programs.
