Position Overview

Understanding the Role

Sanford Health is recruiting an Advanced Heart Failure physician to lead and expand its Advanced Heart Failure service within the Sanford Cardiovascular Institute in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is a new position. The incoming physician will be the first permanent Advanced Heart Failure physician dedicated to the service and will help shape how the program develops over the coming years.

The role pairs clinical practice with program leadership. Sanford is investing across its cardiovascular service line and wants a physician who is interested in building a leading regional Advanced Heart Failure program, not maintaining an existing one.

The incoming physician steps into that growth with the ability to influence its direction.

  • Four to five clinic days per week
