This is a fully outpatient endocrinology practice with daytime consultative inpatient coverage. You manage a general adult endocrinology panel with the clinical support and imaging access to run a complete diagnostic and treatment workflow onsite. The role gives you room to focus your practice and grow programs where the community need is strongest.
You see new and return outpatient visits across the range of general endocrinology, starting at 13 to 15 patients per day. Diabetes management is shared with primary care and varies by provider, so endocrinology carries the complex and hard-to-control cases. There is a clear opening to build out program areas as the service line grows.
Call is daytime only, during clinic hours, with no after-hours, night, or weekend responsibility. You take calls from the ER and hospitalists and provide in-person and phone consultations to hospital-based providers.

The clinic runs on Epic.
Two areas stand out for growth.
Diabetes management. Primary care handles a share of diabetes care that varies by provider, which means endocrinology is the destination for complex cases. There is room to define how the two services divide work and to grow the complex-care side of the practice.
Transgender care. Onsite services are minimal today with limited resources, but there is institutional support to grow a program the community needs. Sanford Fargo has established gender-affirming care services to draw on. This is optional and not a requirement of the role.
