Compensation That Reflects Your Value

The financial package for this position acknowledges that physicians deserve to be paid well without sacrificing their personal lives to earn it. Your base salary of approximately $300,000 reflects market-competitive compensation for family medicine, enhanced by a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance to ease your transition.

What makes this compensation particularly attractive is what you are not giving up to earn it. There is no call stipend because there is no call. There is no productivity bonus tied to seeing 30 patients a day because the model does not ask that of you. Your $300,000 comes with predictable hours, protected time off, and the ability to leave work at work.

Time Off and Leave

Premise Health protects your time away from work with a structured PTO program and paid holidays. Providers receive between 20 and 25 days of PTO annually based on tenure, with the ability to carry over up to 40 hours from one year to the next. The organization observes 10 paid holidays throughout the year.

  • 20 to 25 days of PTO annually for providers based on years of service
  • 10 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
  • PTO carryover up to 40 hours annually
  • Accrued unused PTO paid upon separation up to 80 hours

Continuing Medical Education

Your professional development is supported with dedicated CME time and funding. You receive 5 CME days annually in addition to your regular PTO, plus a CME allowance to cover registration, travel, and course fees.

Health Insurance

Premise Health offers three medical plan options through BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, allowing you to choose the coverage level that fits your family's needs. All plans cover preventive care at 100% with in-network providers.

  • HDHP Base: Lower premiums with $4,000 individual/$8,000 family deductible; Premise contributes $200 (individual) or $400 (family) annually to your HSA
  • HDHP Plus: Mid-tier option with $2,500 individual/$4,000 family deductible; same HSA contribution from Premise
  • PPO: Traditional plan with $1,500 individual/$3,000 family deductible and copay structure

Dental and Vision

Dental coverage through Delta Dental of Tennessee offers two tiers. The Base plan covers preventive services at 100% and basic services at 80% with a $1,000 annual maximum. The Plus plan adds major services and orthodontia coverage with a $2,000 annual maximum.

Vision coverage through DeltaVision in partnership with VSP includes annual eye exams at no copay, prescription glasses with a $10 copay, and frame allowances up to $150 (Base) or $175 (Plus) annually.

Retirement

The Premise Health 401(k) plan through Fidelity helps you build long-term financial security. After one year of service, Premise matches 100% of the first 2% of your contributions and 50% of the next 2%, for a maximum employer match of 3%. You can contribute pre-tax or Roth dollars up to IRS annual limits.

Life and Disability Insurance

Premise provides core life and disability coverage at no cost to you, with options to purchase additional protection.

  • Basic life and AD&D insurance: 1x annual salary up to $300,000 (employer-paid)
  • Spouse basic life: $5,000 (employer-paid)
  • Child basic life: $2,000 per child (employer-paid)
  • Supplemental life available up to 5x salary or $1 million
  • Core short-term disability: 50% of weekly pay up to $1,500 for up to 12 weeks (employer-paid)
  • Buy-up short-term disability options: 60% or 70% of weekly pay
  • Voluntary long-term disability: 50% or 60% of monthly pay
