Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Lake Charles Memorial Health System offers a competitive base salary with a wRVU-based productivity bonus. Cardiologists who build and sustain strong procedural volume have earning potential up to the 90th percentile of MGMA benchmarks for interventional cardiology. The existing group is already performing at a high level, with individual physicians generating between 13,000 and 19,000 wRVUs annually. The program's consistent procedure volume and growing cath lab capacity give the incoming physician a real and immediate path to strong production.

All billing is managed in-house by a dedicated coding team. Physicians do not handle billing independently. The team audits documentation, ensures appropriate coding, and handles all claim submission.
