Position Overview

Understanding the Role

Ivinson Memorial Hospital is seeking a general surgeon to join its established surgical team in Laramie, Wyoming. This position opens as a result of a planned physician retirement, and the incoming surgeon steps into a well-functioning three-physician program with existing patient relationships, referral infrastructure, and consistent case volume already in place.

Laramie sits at the crossroads of Interstate 80 and U.S. Route 287 in southeastern Wyoming, serving as the primary surgical resource for a wide rural catchment area. Ivinson is the region's only acute care hospital, and the surgical program handles a broad scope of general surgery cases without the competitive fragmentation common in larger markets.
