The OB/GYN group at Baylor Scott & White in Waxahachie is a three-physician team supported by a PA and a full clinical staff. The culture is collaborative and low-key. Physicians describe the environment as laid back, with a strong emphasis on working together across the group and with support staff. The incoming physician will be the fourth addition to the group.

This is an addition to the group. A physician departure and an APP transition to PRN status during the BSW acquisition created a significant access gap. The group is currently booked six months out, and new OB patients require appointments within six to eight weeks. The incoming physician steps into a practice with existing patient demand and a team that is ready to support a full ramp.
The group places a premium on team orientation. Physicians who fit here work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and ancillary teams rather than operating independently. The team is open to new graduates and experienced physicians and has a track record of mentoring in the OR.
