Position Overview

Understanding the Role

Alpine Women's Centre at Montrose Regional Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN to join its established group on Colorado's Western Slope. The practice is part of Montrose Regional Medical Group (MRMG), the physician-led medical group of Montrose Regional Health, and is the sole OBGYN specialty group serving Montrose and surrounding counties.

The group cares for women across the full continuum, routine and high-risk obstetrics in partnership with maternal fetal medicine, benign gynecology, and surgical care including robotic-assisted procedures. With a long-tenured physician nearing retirement and the practice continuing to grow alongside the region, this is an opportunity to step into an active, well-supported practice that balances outpatient clinic, hospital deliveries, and surgery.

Leadership Opportunity

The medical director role rotates among the OBGYN physician group and is currently being filled from within. Physicians interested in medical staff leadership, quality improvement, or group governance will find a clear path to take on those responsibilities over time as part of a collaborative, physician-led medical group.

Reporting Structure

The physician reports operationally to the Director of Women's Services and the Montrose Regional Medical Group leadership, with clinical collaboration among the OBGYN physicians and midwifery team.
