Lake Charles Memorial Health System offers a guaranteed base salary followed by a wRVU-based productivity model, providing physicians with immediate financial security while rewarding long-term clinical productivity.

Following the guarantee period, physicians transition into a productivity-based compensation model that rewards procedural volume and practice growth.

Why Productivity Comes Naturally

The practice is structured so physicians can reach and exceed productivity targets without unrealistic expectations:

• Immediate patient demand. The incoming physician joins an established practice with a built-in patient panel and routine procedures scheduled 2 to 3 months in advance.
• A procedure-focused practice. Approximately 80% of physician time is dedicated to endoscopic procedures, the highest-value clinical work in the wRVU model.
• Extensive APP support. Nine dedicated APPs manage routine clinical responsibilities, keeping physician time focused on procedural volume.
• An established referral network. Referrals arrive from Primary Care physicians and specialists throughout southwest Louisiana and southeast Texas, and no general surgeons perform endoscopy at the hospital.
