Outpatient Primary Care: Internal Medicine and Family Medicine

Conway Medical Center is hiring outpatient primary care physicians across its growing network of clinics in coastal South Carolina. Two tracks are open: Internal Medicine at the main Cypress Circle location, and Family Medicine at multiple community sites. Both are outpatient-only roles with no hospital rounding and no inpatient responsibilities.

Schedule (both roles)

Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (4.5-day week)
36 clinical hours plus 4 admin hours per week
Shared call, 1:7–1:8 rotation (roughly 4 weeks per year total)
After-hours calls triaged by nurse line (fewer than 10 calls per week on average)
Dedicated nurse and full support team
Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation and Ambient AI charting

Who Fits This Role

Internal Medicine. CMC prefers an established Internal Medicine physician with outpatient experience for the Cypress Circle practice. The team is also open to an IM residency-trained physician seeking a long-term outpatient home. Candidates should have outpatient experience and have performed in-office procedures within the last five years.

Family Medicine. CMC is seeking experienced outpatient Family Medicine physicians for the Socastee and Postal Way clinics, with a future opening in Aynor targeted for 2027. Physicians practice comprehensive family medicine for all ages and are supported to practice to the full extent of their training, scope, and comfort.
