Additional Compensation Details

  • Call Pay: $37,138 annually for 1:2 call coverage with 24/7 in-house NNP support. Adjustments may apply based on changes to the call structure.
  • Excess Call Pay: Shifts worked beyond the required 126 per year are compensated at $2,015 per shift.
  • Quality Bonus Opportunity: Up to $13,021 annually, rewarding contributions to improved patient care and outcomes.
  • Supervision Stipend for APPs: $10,000 per 1.0 FTE APP, up to a maximum of $20,000. The stipend is shared among supervising physicians. Example: If there are three 1.0 FTE APPs (totaling $30,000) and two physicians, each would receive $15,000 annually.
  • Lone Ranger Bonus: When covering the NICU without APP support, physicians receive an additional $175/hour on top of their regular hourly rate.
  • Sign-On Bonus: A one-time lump-sum bonus ranging from $30,000 to $40,000 to support a smooth transition into the role.
